Session Fees

50 minutes

$200

Subsequent Individual Psychotherapy Session

At the start of treatment, a card will be placed on file. This card will be charged at the beginning of each session.

All major credit and debit cards are accepted. Payments may also be made using Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) or Health Savings Accounts (HSA).

Using Out-of-Network Benefits

I am not in-network with insurance panels. However, many clients are able to receive partial reimbursement for therapy through their out-of-network benefits.

How It Works

1. You pay for your session at the time of service
2. I provide you with a detailed receipt (called a superbill)
3. You submit the superbill to your insurance company
4. Your insurance may reimburse you for a portion of the session fee

What Can I Expect to Be Reimbursed?

Reimbursement varies depending on your specific insurance plan. Some clients receive a percentage of the session fee back after meeting their deductible. I recommend contacting your insurance provider to understand your specific benefits.

What is a Superbill?

A superbill is simply a detailed receipt that includes all the information your insurance company needs to process reimbursement, such as diagnosis and service codes.

Questions to Ask Your Insurance Provider

  • Do I have out-of-network benefits for outpatient mental health services?

  • What is my deductible, and has it been met?

  • What percentage of the fee will be reimbursed?

  • Is there a limit to the number of sessions covered?

Support

I’m happy to provide the documentation you need and answer general questions about the process. While I do not submit claims directly, many clients find the process straightforward once they get started. At the onset of treatment, we will discuss any questions you have about your specific situation as it relates to your insurance and your needs in therapy.
